Each month, we take on 15 newborn photography sessions (i.e., 15 due dates).
This is so we can account for the bubs who make an early entrance, and the ones who are fashionably late.
Sessions are available Monday to Friday, and one weekend per month on request.

What does your session fee include?
Your $200 session fee includes:
- Hair and makeup for mum.
- The session itself with use of all newborn props, blankets, outfits, backdrops and accessories.
- A beautiful Australian made wood print with your favourite photograph.
- Gallery viewing of your beautiful photographs.
- Social media sneak peek.

About the session.
Newborn sessions take place in our beautiful Romsey studio, where the temperature and lighting are controlled and a variety of props, tiebacks, blankets and backdrops are available.
In the warmer months, we love nothing more than a newborn session outside amongst nature.
Newborn sessions are best when your precious bub is 2 weeks old. They are ‘sleepy’ at this stage, which means the signature curly, snuggly newborn poses are far easier to achieve. We can photograph older newborns too, however bubs over 14 days tend to wriggle a lot more, making those much-loved newborn poses more difficult to capture.

Highly recommend Emma and the Aurora Joy Team. We couldn’t have been more happy with how our photos turned out they were exactly what we wanted. Most of Parker’s shots were already completed before my hair and makeup was done. Such a stress free experience.
The only thing we struggled with was picking the final shots as there was so many we loved! We get comments all the time on our chosen Wall art. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

2. Pre Session-Info
This is where we chat about you and your family, explore ideas and themes, and get a thorough understanding of all your photo session wants and needs! This can be done via email or a phone call prior to your session.
We’re talking the look and feel and of course, the style of wall art to complement your décor. No stone is left unturned!
3. It’s Your Session Day!
Mumma's, it's time to capture those priceless newborn keepsakes. If you would like to be included in the photos with your precious bundle, enjoy a complimentary hair and makeup session! This is our gift to you.
4. Gallery Viewing
Either straight after your session or 1 week later (depending on the arrangement), you will relax in the office with delicious snacks and drinks as you preview your gallery of photographs, wall art mock-ups, and select your package. We also process payment at the gallery viewing.
5. Collection Of Your Wall Art
Around 3-4 weeks after your photographs have been edited, your products will be ready to be displayed in your home and loved forevermore.

3. Its your Session day!
After being pampered with hair and make up Mumma, its time to have some fun in front of the camera. Capture pure moments with your family! The only thing you need to bring is your beautiful family, comfy clothes and anything Emma has said to bring.
4. Gallery Viewing
Straight after your photo session, or 1 week after, you will relax in the office with yummy snacks and drinks to preview your gallery of photographs, wall art mock-ups and select your package.
Confirm and pay for your order.
5. Collection of your wall art!
Around 3-4 weeks after your photographs have been edited, your products will be ready to collect from the studio and to be displayed in your home.
