Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed into a warm and calming space where you will feel instantly at ease.
Our equipment is first class, including backdrops, lighting and a huge variety of stunning props. From fabrics, blankets, outfits, headwear and more, there is something to make every session style and theme sing!
We use a blend of both natural light and studio light when photographing maternity, newborn, cake smash and family sessions. This creates a consistent aesthetic without having to worry about the unpredictable Melbourne weather.
Mums to be can choose from a variety of beautiful gowns, and newborn mums have a wide range of buckets, bowls, baskets, wraps, adorable outfits, blankets, tiebacks (headbands) and even a few sibling outfits at their fingertips.
Your session will be customised to suit you and styled to complement your home décor and colour scheme.
But that's not all
The piéce de résistance is that all mums and mums to be have access to our very own amazing hair and makeup studio!
Here you will be pampered and styled to perfection by one of our amazing artists, transforming you into a confident and camera-ready glamourzon!
We take care of everything so that your Aurora Joy Photography experience is high calibre, stress free, and lots of fun to boot.
The only item we encourage our families to bring is something special they would like included in their photography session. Maybe an heirloom blanket, necklace, toy or photograph, just like Miss Elara here with her mum's childhood toy.
